Kate and David Whitaker of Tuscon, came to us wanting to “gut” their mid-1970’s Territorial-style home and update it with a more modern transitional look and feel.

Scope of Work

Their “wish list” was extensive. Janice Williams, Senior Interior Designer, our recommended contractor, and the Whitakers decided on the following “changes”:

• New hardwood flooring & baseboards throughout
• Move laundry from beside the kitchen to the carport area (new room created)
• All new kitchen
• Eliminate window to accommodate kitchen design
• Reface both sides of dual fireplace
• All new interior Knotty Alder doors & casing
• Gut and replace Guest Bath, with heated floor
• New Window Treatments, including skylights
• Add ceiling lights in all rooms
• Replace drywall texture on all walls & ceilings
• New Bar Stools
